I live in an area that is kinda on the rural side. When I moved here in 1957
there were farm land and orchards all around me. The trees died and in their
place houses sprouted up. There are several hundred with iun spitting
distance of my place. Some of the farm land became a cemetery.
Now, I see a buzzard floating around, up high, from time to time but never
more than 2 or 3 at any given time. When I looked out my back window
yesterday morning about 9.00 I saw something in a vacant lot that I thought
was Ole Paul but on closer examination I determined that it was some
buzzards.(not much difference)
Someone had hit a deer on the road that goes by my house and it had made to
the vacant lot before dieing The best I could count there were 23 buzzards
and my question is how did they find it so quick. They must go by sight as
well as odor. That is the most buzzards I have seen for a long time
Sure am glad it wasn't Ole Paul for I would hate for anything to happen to
him and I don't think I have enough food in the house to feed him. Did you
ever see him eat?
