Alvie,
I don't know what part of the country you're researching in this case, but
in PA I've come across the name Salome (PA Dutch/German) as Sally, Sarah,
Susan, Susannah and probably a few other iterations I've forgotten.

Here's a chuckle for the day - one family's nicknames were Bep, Jumpy
(pronounced "Jumbie"), Bepzel, Nutzel, Baldy, Bumbum, Woozy, Schmitty and of
course there's always Junior (pronouced "Chunie").

Hey folks,
I do not wish to start a major thread but wanted to ask all of my friends on
APG if they have ever seen the name of Sarah interchanging with Susan as one
maybe being a nickname?
I found a will with a daughter named Sarah and later in life she married and
forever after that she was called Susan. Susan is on her tombstone.

Advice?
