One thing you might try is having your client write a letter to the Social
Security Admin. She can request that they forward a letter if they have an
address on file for a living relative. They won't divulge (obviously) the name
or address of the next of kin, but they will send on a letter if asked.

In a message dated 5/9/2008 1:57:41 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time,

I am looking for some advice from the list as to where I might go next.
Would it be beneficial to order an actual copy of the Social Security Record
(and are there any restrictions in ordering it).

My client desperately wants to find and make contact with any living
relatives she might have through this gentleman. I have spent a fair bit of
time and money, to date, on this search and keep coming up empty. Any
suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
