I would hope that disciplinary action would take place behind closed doors,
To do otherwise is to punish, perhaps for life, innocent people. If a
unhappy client decided to bring an action or if a unhappy competitor convinced a
client they should bring an action against a member and all the accusations
were published (say on this list). The fact that the finding there was no
violation would never catch up with the story of the deceit or unethical
happening. Look what happened to the man who found the bomb at the Olympics and thus
saved a number of lives. Once he became a suspect, all the press reports
were negative and even after the guilt man was identified, his career in law
enforcement was over and there were still people who felt he was involved
somehow.

So I hope disciplinary actions stay private. It should be between the
accuser, the accused and the board. No one else needs to know the particulars.
