Well, Bonnie, you don't give a geographical location nor any time period.
But if you're talking Texas, and Civil War era then we've got that wonderful
Irishman, the famous Dick (Richard) Dowling. Boy, do we love him here in
Houston - so much so that we give him (his statue) a bath every year - and
with great celebration!
