I have now been asked by two authors how to get books bought. One has a
publisher that is really a printer and as a result, she has a garage full of
her three books. The second person has four books - all published on demand
but he wants more demand.

These are not genealogy per se but both authors use local history as the
framework and background for their stories. Subject matter aside - how did
you find a literary agent? How did you promote sales?

They asked me because I am a librarian and they know I have interest &
knowledge in local history.
