The FHL has put out a series of Research Guides on Canada and many of
the Provinces. I think they are available on-line or can be downloaded
from a CD at a FHC.

I recommend doing a Google search on Canada +genealogy +reseach or
better on the Province +genealogy or the Province County Name
+genealogy.

There are rootsweb lists and message boards fro every county, where they
exist, in Canada.
