I've improved the transcription notation I proposed about a year ago and
have updated the specification (now in PDF format). I think you'll find that
the notation is more powerful, intuitive, and easier to use than before. Any
comments, positive or negative, are welcome. The spec can be downloaded from
the Transcription section of http://www.igenie.org.
