Subject: [APG] PA birth certificate

Colleagues,
I have a client's Pennsylvania birth certificate dated 1947 that is stamped
"Issued Free on Military Status." Does anyone know what that phrase
means? Does it mean his parent, probably father, was active duty military
at the time?
