Pam,
Pam you wrote, "Most of my clients have found me through this

I wonder how the clients actually find your Web site. Do they put
something like something like "Maine genealogy researcher" into
google.com or another search engine and find you among 13,000
hits?

I've had a website for the past three years. I spent a minimum
amount to
have it designed and pay nothing for hosting since web space is
part of my
Internet connection service. I have it updated at a very minimal
charge
once or twice a year. When I find some time I'd like to take a
course or two
to learn how to do the design and maintenance myself. Most of
my clients
have found me through this site as I do no other advertising. I
definately
feel it is worth the small investment.
