I know some funeral homes in Florida have been closed to questions for years and years, long before anyone brought up the subject of identity theft or privacy. VanOrsdel Funeral Homes in Dade County FL has been a hard nut to crack for information and I have no idea why they stopped it years ago. Or at least when they heard my name they told me they would not give out information, but guess that is just my paranoia <g>.
I would guess the next thing to go will be newspaper obituaries since the funeral home provides the family data to the newspapers. If anyone wants to see an obituary just go to the Salt Lake Tribune and take lessons.
