In the 1920 US Census for St. Louis City, 9th Ward, the Ursuline Convent
and Academy is listed at 2112 So. 12th Street, on Sheet 2B, ED #169. The
image is available on line at ancestry.com.

Rev. James P. Murray, chaplain, age 35, born in Missouri, both parents
born in Missouri, lists his occupation as Superintendent of a parochial
school. On the census, where the head of household is identified, he is
listed as chaplain. On that same page, the sister's are clearly so
identified, but listed under their family surname.

Because my father was mentored by Father Murray and because the
religious sisters played a big role in his family life in St. Louis, I
guess their stories interest me almost as if they were sort of an
extended family.
