Personally, I feel that paid advertisements helps. Many of my out of state
clients mentioned the APG Directory.

There are currently two options for you to advertise at APG. Both accept
paid advertisements. They are:

APG Directory of Professional Genealogists (current issue 2001-2002) -
check with Pam Porter for further information.

The other is APG Quarterly - This journal publishes every quarter and
currently the deadline is January 25, April 25, July 25, and October 25.
The cost for either a business card ad (vertical or horizontal) is $25 for
one placement or $80 for four continuous placements.

Both publications will accept electronic files in PageMaker, Adobe
Illustrator, Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf), or PostScript file
