<< . . on publishing books from genealogy programs. What do you like
about doing it and what problems need to be dealt with? >>
I can't believe any computer generated report fresh from a genealogy program
will ever suit me. I love Ultimate Family Tree, but always print to a RichText
Format and then do all the editing I desire, insert photos where I want them,
etc., using my word processing program. The Index remains in tact as I edit
and I can add entries as needed.

I'm so sorry I was in such a rush and couldn't finish the whole story. The
reason I like GenBook is that it uses the features of Word and WordPerfect to
do what you want but does all the hard work of numbering the people correctly,
putting the page breaks in appropriately, adding the cross references
everywhere in book from one part of the book to another...all that tedious
stuff we hate to do so we can polish, edit, add beautiful features, etc.
Isn't it fun to share ideas in this format...if we just had another hour each
day.
Sincerely,
Karen Clifford, AG
