Mehitable Janet Ames was born Oct 29, 1830 at Blanchard, Piscataquis Co, ME
and died Sept. 8, 1890 at Woodland, Wash. Co, ME. David Newbegin was born aft
June1830, died after 1870. He is listed as age 39 on the 1870 census, His
parents were on the 1860 census living with the family in East Madison, ME,
The father, David Newbegin was shown as age 85, wife Esther was 68. Their

Francisco, CA, date unk. Dat. Ida L. Newbegin was b. 5-7-1855 at E. Madison,

I am a direct descendant of Mehitable Janet Ames parents, Charles Vaughn
Ames, and Dorcas Dean. Mehitable was their 4th child (of 12) If I can be of
