I am 100% interested in the Ames family of England.I am glad that you wrote
me.
Currently I have no information on your request butwill do whst ever is
possible.

I trying to get information on William George Ames who was a trader.He sailed
from Liverpool around the years 1870 or a little before.Went to countries
such as Togo,West Africa and perhaps Barbados ,West Indies. Someone told me
that was was born in Scotland.

If you or anyone could be of any help I would appreciate. I am acquainted
with some of his descendants in Togo,West Africa.

Need any shipping records etc.Place of birth etc.
