Chad,

I suggest you join Lutheran Roots on rootsweb. You might ask and find
out more about Pastor Haas's wife , e.g. if they married in the US,
etc.
Not only do ma=embers help each other, Joel Thorensen, ELCA archivist
is on and a great help with older resources.
