List: Can anyone help me?? I am trying to find the children of MY
Joseph Allen, who married Sarah MAY, but I keep getting the records of
another Joseph and a Sarah________ in the same area ,that is,Rehoboth and
Swansea and Attleboro. Someone on the list suggested that I even check
the Allens over in Rhode Island, but I feel that that is not the correct
area.Perhaps, I am short sighted in that, So I ask anyone who has data
on both of these border areas, to check any records they have for My
Joseph Allen. The time period would be a marriage Oct 6, 1720 (
where?), and births of the children between1720's to 1740's
(where?).
The usual names of the children would be:John, Daniel, Elisha,
Joseph,Sarah,Mary, etc. One person on the list gave me a Joseph Jr.
born_______??married July 9,1748 to Mary Peirce. I still don't know if
this is MYJoseph Allen"s son, or the other couples child.Does anyone know
if there is a Peirce News list? Someone else suggested that the missing
name of Joseph Allen JR"s wife is Bicknell. Does anyone know if there is
a Bicknell Newslist? I do not have internet access, so must rely on the
Newlists a lot. I'd appreciate any and all help you can give me. Julie
