So good to hear from you again.
This James Middleton of Lamar Co., AL was the brother to my g-g-grandmother. However, I seem to have copied the wrong information to send you when I down loaded. The Middleton in LaRue Co., Ky is a distant cousin of ours.


Zachariah Middleton's son, James Middleton, migrated to the county in the early part of the 19th century. He married Parilee Moore, a daughter of John C. Moore, the first Probate Judge of Fayette County 1850-
Zachariah's daughter Elizabeth later migrated from Tuscaloosa County, Alabama about 1843 with her husband Anthony F. Bell and their five children.

James Middleton born 6 August 1812 in Morgan County, Georgia died 19 June 1888 in Vernon, Alabama; married Parilee Moore. Children: Margaret/Mary Priscilla, Biddie E., Sarah E., Martha C. H., Elimena Catherine, James H. and John J.

Married 2nd Sarah Ann Stewart; their children were Eugenia Ellen, Jerusha Ann, William Green, Rebecca J. & Nancy Rosaline
