Subject: employee names & SS#'s
Way back in the 1940's or so, my daddy had a wood manufacturing plant in Lee County, Al. I have found his old "Alabama Unemployment Fund" forms - this has a LOT of names (I believe back then you had to file every 3 months), the one I have right now is dated 6-30-1949 and I know there are others, anyway 'short story long' these names of employees have their SS#'s with them, some of these people may have lived in Chambers Cty, Macon Cty and/or Russell Cty - not much work back then - so also I believe a lot of these may of been African American men, (but I know there are also some caucasions) (and some females) so now tell me what to do, I can list the name/s but I will not give out no SS#'s unless a person can connect to that person. A SS# has lots of info, esp if you get the application form they filled out to get their SS card. Choices:
1- list all names, if one is related, you can prove it and get that SS#
2- look up names as asked, if proved, you can get that SS#
3- make a sort/of doc. with names, if one is related, you can prove and then get SS#
OK people - its your time - looking for solution/s, to make this info available, I would assume most of the people are now deceased - names on this form begin with BRIDGES to WRIGHT, all alphabetically.
