Hi Martha,

Thank you for the web site for Big Lakes County web page. I had a quick
look at it, as it was supper time. I saw something about a county map,
with owners names on it. I remembered that we had bought a map at the
Town office in Tofield. I just dug it out, and it shows the names of the
current owners. We have narrowed down the section where we think that
their land was.

With this information, I can ask the Land Titles Office to do a
Historical Search of the land (as Kathleen suggested). This should
confirm the correct Legal Land Description.
