Subject: [ADAMS] The NC/SC connections, William Adams, Margaret Adams

One more early Adams tidbit. The first immigrant Francis Adams in my
lineage (grandfather of Francis Adams who married Margaret McKee in SC just
after the War) was said in early family writings to have left SC for the
safety of NC during the War and died there. If he were able to take refuge
in NC as an elderly man, one would expect other Adams kin to have been there

to host him.
I've wondered where in NC early Adams would have been located, assuming that

such a move should have kinship or friendship connections at destination.
