I am trying to determine if the following is a match for my family ancestor.

The SSDI shows:
William E. ADAMS b. 4/2/1901 d. 6/15/1967
RES: Taunton, Bristol County, MA ISSUED: MA

I have a family prayer card for:
William E. ADAMS d. 6/2/1967 (handwritten on card is "Uncle Earl")

To further confuse the info., on this individual, he is listed on the;
1905 RI Census as:
Joseph E. ADAMS b. 4/2/1901 Central Falls, RI

1910 RI Census as:
Joseph L. ADAMS 9yrs b. RI

He is consistantly listed as the son of William & Maude ADAMS and has siblings (John b. 1898, Francis b. 1900, Mary Maude b. 1903 - all b. RI and half siblings William b. 1888, Elizabeth b. 1883, James b. 1886, Patrick b. 1891, Alice b. c1895 and Mary J. b. 1896)

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
