I have found nothing on Marlins.. Sorry.. I do have the following:
Jeremiah Adams born 1799 in Virginia
Lucy Adams (wife) born 1808 in NC
Martha Adams (dau) born 1838 Mississippi
Jno Adams (son) born 1842 Illinois
Jas Adams (son) born 1829 Tenn
L Caroline (dau) born 1831 state unknown\
George W Adams (son) born 1849/50 Illinois

They lived next door to William Elliott and his wife J A Elliott.
We believe J.A. Elliott was also a daughter of Jeremiah Adams. J.A. died and William married Martha Adams in Illinois. We believe William and J. A. Elliott had a daughter Nancy born 1844 in Illinois.
