Hi Richard
I'm looking after one of the 2 or 3 Riis family linies, how left Bornholm in the last past of 1900.
My fathers family, from his mothers site, came from a Riis family on Bornholm. Her name was Magda Helene Moeller Riis, born 10. july 1896 in Roenne.
I know that some one from USA payed here a visit about the 1970-1980 when she livede alone in Sydhavnen, Copenhagen.
I would like to find that person, I just now that it was woman.

Magda Helene Moeller Riis parents was Anthon Hansinius Riis born 26/1/1871 in Allinge on Bornholm, as a child he lived in Noerrekaas.
Married 1. nov. 1894 with Hansigne Margrethe born Moeller, born 1. nov. 1875 in Tejn, Olsker Sogn.
My grandmother had 5 younger brothers and one sister (Aage, Haddon, Carl, Ethel, Egon, Hjarne)

Anthon Hansinius Riis (dead 1935) parents was Hans Morten Riis from Olsker Sogn married to Andrea Jensine Riis born with the name:Larsen from Olsker Sogn.

Do you have a Hans Morten Riis from Olsker Sogn on Bornholm?
