need any help that any one can give me...

I am searching for JOSEPHINE ADAMS, daughter of WILLIAM and JANE ANN ADAMS. She was born roughly around 1901, 1902. She was born in or around WORKINGTON, CUMBERLAND, ENGLAND.

The important thing is:...

**JOSEPHINE (JOSIE) ADAMS WENT TO SINGAPORE IN 1939/1940 AS A NANNY FOR A MILITARY FAMILY. SHE IS BELIEVED TO HAVE PERISHED AT SEA WHILST ESCAPING FROM THE ISLAND WHEN THE JAPANESSE INVADED MALAYSIA IN 1942. THE LAST COMMUNICATION FROM HER WAS IN AUGUST/ SEPTEMBER 1941 AND EXHAUSTIVE EFFORTS TO TRACE HER SINCE THEN HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL.**

If any one has any information at all it would be very thankfully received, for I would really like to know what happened to her.

Thank you
Alice Knapper
