Dear Don,
I have some copies of Pension papers from the William Adams in the war of 1812. I believe I have copies of the war records, and maybe some more. His wife was Mary or at least she is listed as his heir. Stated 8 children: 6 minor and 2 adult on 18 March 1813, stated he died in the hospital Aug 1813, from injuries in the war.
If this is of interest to you, I will send you a copy.
