Hi, am looking for the parents of John Lockwood Adams.
He was born in NY 1838 & married Rebecca Hewitt in 1840.
John's father had died when he was ten years old (1828) in New York of cholera, at the time of his death he was Captain of the Police of New York City.
John had an brother older than he was who was a tailor in Davenport, Iowa.
John's mother re-married possibly to a "Bunce"
John's two sisters married a "Crosley" and "Bouton"
