My gg-grandmother was Margaret ADAM born at Laurencekirk, Kincardine on 2 July 1798 to James ADAM and Margaret Graham. James & MArgaret had 16 children that I know of:-

Janet 1791, Joseph 1792, Hugh 1796, Helen 1797, Margaret and Jean (twins) 1798, John 1800, Elizabeth 1801, Isobel 1803, William 1805, Jean 1806, Charlotte 1808, David 1809, Alexander 1811, Elizabeth 1812, and Charles 1815. The first six were born at Laurencekirk and the remaining ten at Fordoun - both in the county of Kincardine.

Margaret ADAM b. 1798 married James KIDD at Brechin, Angus in 1823.

I would love to hear from anyone connected to this family.
