Thanks, for t he reply. I had found a John and Nancy Ackerson in Morgan County, but he is much older. In later census's he is listed as John Atkinson. I suspect that one of John's son's might be by James Arkinson, Atkinson or Ackerson. James may have been married several times, but The marriage I know about for sure is the one to Sarah Phillis
