Am looking for James Dyce bc1839 in Stricken, James went to South Africa in
1859 but is listed on the 1851 Census as the nephew of William & Jean
(Shand) Bannerman, is only 12 years of age and a scholar, he died in SA in
1911 and on his Death certificate his father has been listed as Alexander
Dyce, his mother's name was not recorded, I am looking for his mother's
name, whom I assume either had the maiden name of Shand or Bannerman and
married an Alexander Dyce. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
