I did not find the name on either list; however, from Scottish Soldiers in Colonial America, Part III by David Dobson:
Meldrum, James - corporal, 42nd Royal Highland Regiment 1749-1766, wounded at Ticonderoga, settled in Otter Creek, NY in 1767. Loyalist 1776. (page 60).
There is also part I and II there as well which I did not have time to check today.
