Hello Sharon... Tried looking this book up on worldcat.org but got no hits... Wondering if the title is somewhat different than what you listed.  Also could you list the "Author/Publisher and year"  Hoping this book might be in a Library closer to home.  Regards... db

I found this book at the library here in Jacksonville, Florida and I am willing to do look ups.  In some cases, it is only the name with place of origin and the comment, Lurking after Culloden and in other cases there is more information.

An example:  1745: Leith, Alexander from Collithie Parish of Gartly, Aberdeenshire. He was at least 50 years when he went into England with the Jacobites.  Prisoner at carlisle.  He was executed 28 November 1746.  On the eve of his execution he wrote to his brother that the child of Elizabeth Anderson who on his advice had named John Chisholm as the father was in fact his. (p. 32).
