The Capt was Mr. Forbes MILNE, and the article or another source said he had
no ticket. I think you had better have the full story.....I will email
direct......the answer to the question you asked is 'yes, there is ONE', Wm
Burnett, Strichen died 27 Jul 1860.
In part the story reads, "Barnet and Mitchell were both pitched out of the
boat when it was upset by a whale and not seen again." On the list of the
dead it gives his name and date of death. I'll get you the info off
line........I guess the message here is that some of the lost sailors do get
reported. But, I have never found all of mine and cannot be sure the ones I
did find belong to this Walker family. Goldie
