Subject: [ABERDEEN] GRANT FAMILY OF GARTLY

Hi all,

I am researching the Grant family of Gartly. In the 1841 census I have
Francis Grant aged 65 (b. about 1776) living at "Drumbulg" with sons George
b. 1816 at Gartly and Francis b. about 1818. I have been transcribing the
LDS Film for the parish registers for Gartly (Film No. 993187) and have been
unable to find either of the son's baptisms. Can anyone tell me whether
there was another church in the parish at the time? I was also unable to
find a baptism in 1776 for Francis in this parish.
