I do have to say though, I've made contact with a good number of fairly
close cousins, including a 2C in Australia who I'd been seeking for 5+
years. She was found less than 4 hours after I'd paid my sub for the first
time. I also made contact with a half-aunt and a half-cousin (not the
aunt's daughter), plus others with whom I share cousins. I've definately
had my moneys' worth from my subs.

In my experiences with GR many of the people using it seem to have the aim of building the biggest tree possible regardless of where the information comes from. They connect with a distant relative and append the tree to their own, believing it to be true. Rarely have I found a contact who has bothered to source the information that they share and consequently you get the situation that the same incorrect information is appearing on lots of trees. However, it is very good for contacting people and like Toni said well worth the subscription for that alone.
Best Wishes
Linda
