Dear Jean:

Some years ago I was startled to discover I had Donald Duck in my family
tree. Moreover, Donald Duck is my 3rd cousin 1 generation removed.
Donald's related family grew to several generations of Ducks before I
discovered that it was an imaginative alternate spelling of Diack. This
family line lived in Kent County Ontario and may be a line of Diacks you
lost to emigration to Canada.

I also have a second group of 15 related Diacks in Aberdeenshire. John
William Diack (1895-1952) is my 5th cousin one generation removed. He was
born in Kemnay and died in Peterhead. I do not know of any connection
between the Ducks and the Diacks.

Do we have a possible intersection of family trees?
