Just go to the site and sign in....they want a password etc, but it is easy
and you can log in..If you want to search for something the system will kick
you out and into a secure area where you can input a credit card. Some have
said to me to get another credit card that carried only a limited amount
($50 or so), but I haven't had a problem and I suspect many Listers would
agree.
There are other choices as well. But make a 'grocery list' before you go
there, so you know what and who you are looking for...dates etc..because
with some names you will pull up several choices. You need to know who and
what you are looking for, then the system works so well, it's unbelievable.
You can also get a copy of the Old Parish Records there IF you don't have
access to the films.
Most Listers will help you thru this if I haven't explained it properly.
Likley I didn't..I'm a clutz at this stuff, so I just work my way thru and
hope I get what I am looking for..usually I do, but I have been known to
goof up......Goldie
