Hello Robin

As information, John LUMSDEN and Christian STEPHEN had at least 4
children according to the IGI. The IGI also shows their marriage in
1751 New Machar under the spellings LumsdOn and Stiven. The Kintore
Kirkyard MI shows Christian died 02 Feb 1793, age 63 and James died 09
May 1834, age 64.
My gggrandmother was Helen STEPHEN, married to George SHERIFFS. Helen
lived at Boghead in Kintore when the 1871 and 1881 census was taken but
I have not (yet??) found a connection to Christian. Here is a link to my
Stephen family...

My Helen Stephen is No. 7 under Generation 3.

Hope this helps a wee bit.
Barbara
