Ah, the Biter bit, at last! That is actually a page that I posted! -
but Ballenlish does not figure in my database of Banffshire places
because the data on Kirkmichael was among what I had "inherited" from
the previous Banffshire organiser, rather than being anything I had
myself researched.
However, I would suggest that, even if you are reporting on a "foreign"
county, it is good practice to include the name of the parish concerned,
since this governs the indexing of so many of the standard sources, such
as OPRs, post-1855 BDMs, Census, Poor Law etc. and can help to narrow
down any reference.
