Hi Kirsteen
Ann Dalgarno died 3rd March 1859, I've sent a copy of a page from the
Aberdeen Journal with details direct. It looks like George re-married in
1860 to Jane Watson.
One strange thing, according to the IGI Ann Dalgarno was the mother of
William Anderson Slesser born March 1860 but I suspect that the father was
George Slesser (jnr) and that he was the informant and upon being asked
"mothers name" gave his own mothers name rather than the babies mother. Ann
Dalgarno was the mother of a child named William in June 1856 but that child
is with his father George and step-mother Jane in the 1861 census.
