Hi Kirsteen

James was born a GARDEN. If you do a search for births in Peterhead in the
period 1877 to 1891 for the surname GARDEN you will get five matches, Helen
born 1878, James born 1879 and Samuel born 1879 (twins?) are Margarets, they
are all shown as hers on the 1891 census. The William born 1881 is also
probably Margarets as he is with the other 3 on the 1881 census with
Margaret and her parents John & Helen GARDEN but then he disappears,
possibly deceased. The James born 1877 was probably from another family.
