My book, Scotland, History of a Nation, says the same think as the message
below, with this added--
"Cholera strikes for the first time, with deaths estimated at
10,000"............. 1832 "Continuing outbreaks of cholera cause at least
10,000 deaths" hope this helps, Goldie
