I am looking for details of a Thomas Clyne ( sometime spelt
Clavin, Cleven or Cleve)
born in Old Marchar in about 1850. His parents Thomas Clyne was a
soldier and his mother Margaret Rae were married 1849.

In 1851 census Margaret was received help from the parish and had
Thomas aged 1 with her. In the 1861 census Thomas was boarding .She
later died in Old Machar Poorhouse. aged 1837.

The family story is that Thomas sen was killed in action .

Any help or direction would be appreciated.
