After some temporary hiccups, an updated version of the MI Index Online
is now available, at:

http://www.abdnet.co.uk/mi-index/index.html

The Index covers inscriptions in 130 burial grounds in northeast
Scotland (Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Banffshire, Kincardine and Moray).
Details of 102 of these have been published in some 86 MI booklets
produced by ANESFHS* and MBGRG**. Information has also been included
from 28 of the "draft" or "unpublished" MIs held by ANESFHS. A total of
over 120,000 individuals are named in the Index.

There are two main parts to this update:

1 Parts of the coding have been changed to cure problems experienced
by users of Internet Explorer 7.

2 A number of burial grounds published in recent months have been added:
