Margie: I "googled" for Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Deaths Recorded and got
several hits regarding a book published in 1996 authored by M. Wilson and S.
Smith. Not sure if this will be of any help but the cost of the book
(£4-£6) is reasonable.

Subject: ABERDEEN ROYAL INFIRMARY RECORDED DEATHS

I have discovered a John FORBES, from Inverness, who died on 9 September
1790 in the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
I do not know where my John Forbes was born, nor the names of his parents,
but do know that he was
recorded as the "late mariner" in the notice of one of his daughter's
marriage announcement in 1798. Is it likely
that he would be identified in this manner if he died in 1790? As I
understand it, he had to be recommended to
the Infirmary in order to be admitted. Does anyone know where I might
locate any information about this situation?
Would appreciate any input--email address for the Infirmary if that is
where the records are kept might be useful.
I can't seem to move this brick wall. Thanks. Margie
