There is a burn that gets it's start in the forrest north of Kennethmont
called The Shevrock. this burn can be traced down stream to flow between
Insch and the B9002. This is probably the burn you are looking for. Talk to

I've been having trouble discovering the names of one of the rivers up river
from Inverurie. I can trace the Gadie Burn on my map beyond Oyne to Leslie.
I can also follow the Urie where it takes off goes past Old Rayne and to
Wrangham. What I can't discover is the name of the river that flows just
south of Insch and seems to be a branch of the Urie which comes in just
north of Old Rayne. It seems to flow east-west and isn't named on any of my
maps. Can anyone help?
