Hi...I'm hoping that some kind soul on this list can answer a question for
me, please: one of my gggg grandfathers was born ca 1705 @ Parish of Cluny,
Aberdeenshire, Scotland. His grandson was born in Monymusk, Aberdeenshire,
Scotland. I've never been able to find where either of those two places are
(besides somewhere in Aberdeenshire, that is!)

Does anyone have any idea in what part (east, west, north, south) of the
county? I'm hoping to get to Scotland again in the next year or so, (I've been
there twice, but both times I was in the Borders, trying to get a line on my
Armstrongs, who apparently were a pretty fierce bunch of people! I've read the
curse put on all Armstrongs, by, of all people, the Archbishop of Glascow!),
but didn't find anything (no time!), but had a wonderful time on both trips,
and really fell in love with the entire country). But now I want to go to
Aberdeen, and see the Highlands, and find out more about my Robertsons.

Any help or hints would be very gratefully received...

Barbara
