Hi Kerry

I read your email with great interest. My 3 x great grandmother was Jean
Forrest, sister of the James Forrest you are looking for. They were the
children of William/James Forrest & Margaret Leel/Leil.

The following is an extract of James & Margaret in the 1881 Census:

Dwelling: Manse
Census Place: Lonmay, Aberdeen, Scotland
Source: FHL Film 0203460 GRO Ref Volume 219 EnumDist 1 Page 16
Marr Age Sex Birthplace
James FORREST M 37 M Fraserburgh, Aberdeen, Scotland
Rel: Head
Occ: Minister Of Lonmay Parish
Catherine FORREST M 26 F Methlic, Aberdeen, Scotland
Rel: Wife
Occ: Ministers Wife
Isabella G. FORREST 4 F Tarves, Aberdeen, Scotland
Rel: Daur
James FORREST 2 M Tarves, Aberdeen, Scotland
Rel: Son
Annie FORREST U 26 F Fraserburgh, Aberdeen, Scotland
Rel: Sister
Occ: Ministers Serv
James FORREST M 81 M Strichen, Aberdeen, Scotland
Rel: Father
Occ: Formerly Farmer
Margaret FORREST M 76 F Fraserburgh, Aberdeen, Scotland
Rel: Mother
Occ: Formerly Farmers Wife
John KIETH U 19 M Lonmay, Aberdeen, Scotland
Rel: Serv
Occ: Farm Serv
Elizabeth KIETH U 17 F Lonmay, Aberdeen, Scotland
Rel: Serv
Occ: Domestic Serv

From the death records of James' wife Margaret (nee Simpson), it seems that
she was married previously to a George Morrice (if I remember correctly).

I have more information on the children of James & Margaret and also that of
Jean Forrest's family (she married a Thomas Ironside). Their daughter
Margaret was my great-great grandmother.

I would be willing to share information with you.

Kind regards
