Hi Roger,
I am just wondering if your Alexander Scott has any connection to my
very elusive Scott's. I think it is quite a long shot but I'd just as
soon be aware of your family line as I go along looking for mine.
I have a George SCOTT who married Bridget BURNS. The children included
Jane SCOTT born about 1810; John SCOTT chr. 26 Apr 1814 at St. Nicholas,
Aberdeen; Alexander Scott b. 12 May 1816, chr. 13 May 1816 in Inverurie.
Jane Scott married William Ironside. They had children in Fyvie, Tarves
and around that area best I can tell. She died in Inverurie. One
daughter Elizabeth married William Forbes (both are buried in Monymusk).
Another daughter, Jane, married Robert Donald. They are living in
Inverurie in 1888.
I do not know if there were other children or anything else at this
time.
Let me know if you come across this family.
